• The Route: Take Route 5 North. You’ll pass through the lush, volcanic forests of Onuma Park before reaching the coast.
• Pro Tip: Don’t forget to try the world-famous “Ika-meshi” (savory squid stuffed with rice) at the roadside station. It is a local soul food and the perfect snack for your hanami picnic!
